In this sermon, Bishop Keith A. Kershaw spoke on Judges 2:11:-15 
“When God’s Hands Are Against You, Not For You.”
You can leave no enemy standing. You cannot allow those things in your life that are now against you to stay in your life.  
God asked Abraham to give up what He gave him.  God wanted to see if Abraham’s love was greater towards the gift than it was towards God.  Sometimes, you will choose your enemies to awaken your consciousness.  There are two types of fighting.  One is to fight to maintain the possessions you already have and fight to progress to the next level.
The Bible is the only source of our faith.  God is working on our hearts.  We used to be a generation of people who knew the power of God.  I wonder if you were just living the life of Christ outside of church, would people know that you know God. Do the people know the God of the Bible or the God of tradition?  You got to know him for yourself.

Meet Our Pastor

Bishop Keith A. Kershaw

Our Pastor is the founder and organizer of the Genesis Church of God in Christ (Columbia, South Carolina).  Bishop Kershaw currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Church of God in Christ.  Bishop Kershaw earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from South Carolina State College (now University) in 1983.  In 2002, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Charles E. Graham Baptist Bible College and Seminary.  He is married to the former Dr. Maxine Y. Greene and is the father of one daughter, Rachel Victoria.  When not immersed in his work or spending time with his family, he is an avid fan of the game of golf.
