Dr. Maxine Y. Kershaw
Wife of Bishop Keith A. Kershaw, she is a licensed Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ, serving as our First Lady and affectionately known as Lady K.
A retired educator with more than 36 years of service. She holds a Doctorate and Masters degree from Walden University in Reading and Literacy; a Masters of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from South Carolina State University.
Lady K currently leads the Women’s ministry. She faithfully serves in many ministry areas giving support to her husband, leaders and the church family actively involved in didactic-al and music ministries.
Lady K ministers internationally and domestically crossing denominational lines on various platforms.
She is a published author of The Year of Release: Daily Manna, a 30-Day Prayer Journal and her latest work Banah: A Guide for Women Married to Ministry.
Lady K loves God, family, and her church family. Isaiah 61:1 defines her effectual call to ministry while Philippians 1:6 keeps her heart anchored in the assurance that God will finish what He started in HER!
