The Only Response to Mercy

It is not enough to understand the creed if your posture is not correct. When the words say “therefore,” it is another way of saying “I beseech you”. Paul used the word “Therefore” as a Divine response. After all God has done for you, and you do not have a response.

Many of us think the Holy Ghost is for us to speak in unknown tongues. You need the Holy Ghost for more than that. You need power to love those who are unlovable. We need the Holy Ghost more than just for praise and worship. It is the Holy Ghost who becomes our intercession when we do not know what to pray about. The spirit knows the mind of God. He knows God’s purpose in your struggle. When God has been good to you, you come into His courts with thanksgiving. We do this because of God’s mercy. God’s mercy is continuing to work in our lives.

You have to start looking more like God. When God puts you in the fire is to purge you. When I am more like God, you will begin to respond like God. It is not just a Sunday morning experience. It is a lifestyle of experiences.

We must consecrate ourselves to God. We have to come to God and give up those things that are contrary to God. That is why we must go unto prayer and consecration. We ask to be filled with the things of God. Worthy is the God of my salvation. I have to get my mind right. I have to transform from the thinking of this world. When the Lord transforms your mind, you will put on the mind which is of Christ Jesus. Lord help me to live a separated life.
