I Cant Let Go

Nov 30, 2025    Bishop Keith A. Kershaw

The greatest battleground is not the battleground we see in the streets or on financial grounds. It is the battleground of your memory. Many can remember hurtful words easily. You remember the tone of their voice, the exact words, and the geographic location of the event. You took this memory and are determined to hold on to it, forsaking other memories. Let the Lord do a miracle in your life. The Lord provides you with food from Wednesday to Saturday; you forgot that God is your provider. We are suffering from severe memory loss. We have the tendency to abort positive events that have occurred in our lives.

If I don’t praise God, I am going to complain. We get a new car, and we enjoy the smell and wash the car daily. After a while, we consider it just another ca,r and we forget the benefits of the blessing. You know about the healing, and you testify to it. After a while, you forget about the healing, and you begin to forget to give God praise. You have to get off the treadmill. A treadmill has movement, but it goes nowhere. The saints will get nowhere if you focus on the negative.

Many of us have left the presence of God at the altar and did not realize it. You cannot afford to forget God. If a man remembers it is Valentine’s Day and does not act on it, it is not good. When God remembered Moses, He acted on it and removed the water. A husband remembers not just by knowing, but by what he does. Forgetting is linked to pride. When you forget God, you fail to acknowledge Him. When you fail to acknowledge God, you can become full of pride. Don’t let your appreciation for God die. Lord help me to cry out. Don’t ignore the evidence of God’s grace. Now and then, you must think of the goodness of Jesus. The greatest sickness is sin. Disease will kill the body, but sin will kill the soul. Lord, thank you for the benefits of forgiveness.
