Strange Addictions

Being saved does not make you perfect. In these last days, it seems our taste buds are changing. Our appetite for God has changed. It appears that instead of being blessed by the spirit of God, we want to try to fulfill the appetite of the flesh.

Just because you changed your addiction from one location to another location, does not mean you overcame your addiction. How can you want something so bad that is not good for you? You may not be addicted to fornication, but you are addicted to arguing or gossiping. We have forgotten that we are in the process. This is not our final destination.   

You cannot be in the grey area. You have to be black or white. What do you REALLY believe? God is giving us another opportunity to get your appetite back in order.  You have to make up your mind that you will bless the Lord at all times. In order to get yourself right, you have to know that you need to be delivered from these strange addictions. If you want God to clean you up, He is willing to clean up. You have to allow God to break what is under the surface. Lord help me to discern.
