LORD Me Too
Lord, Me Too
Eld. Reginald Harris | Sept. 6, 2026 | Psalm 13:1-6
Like the Me Too movement gave victims a voice, it's okay to tell God, "Lord, while you're blessing others, I need you too."
1. Be Honest With God
It's not a lack of faith to tell God what you're really going through. Jesus said only the sick need a doctor - a doctor can't help if you won't share your symptoms. The Bible is full of people who questioned God, and God never wanted blind followers.
2. What Faith Really Is
Biblical faith isn't blind faith. It's anchored in what we know from the Word, not what we see. Faith isn't denying facts; it's trusting God's Word to fulfill what it says despite the facts. Sometimes it's not what we're going through, but how long.
3. God Remembers & You Must Recall
When the Bible says God "remembered" Noah, Sarah, etc., it means He focused His attention on them. If you want His attention, lift your hands and admit your need for Him.
We must get out of self-idolatry - believing we can do it ourselves. Even David, a powerful man, knew he needed God.
Renew your trust through recall. Testimony proves God's Word is true. Think back - not one time you needed provision or healing did He not come through. He is undefeated.
Takeaway: God has you right where you need to be. What you want Him to do strategically, He will do miraculously. Learn to declare: I trust in God.
