Cold Case: The Trail, The Cross, and The Missing Body
Something caused the womb to tremble. We embrace the frighten disciples who later became such powerful men. In Acts chapter 3, we will describe the criminal indictment. In Acts chapter 3, individuals are accused of murder. We will examine this case.
Crime scene Number 1: The Cross
Crime Scene Number 2: The Soldiers at the Tomb
Crime Scene Number 3: The empty grave
Conspiracy of the crime: Some people wanted Jesus dead, but they were afraid of the people. They needed someone inside Jesus’ group to assist in placing Him in their hand. Judas was used, but Lucifer was the master mind. There is still a conspiracy today. There are people today who are trying to strip Christianity. They did this then, and they are trying to do it now. Before you rush to condemn Judas, you must look at yourself. Judas portrays Jesus for the price of a slave. How many of you have traded your relationship with God for a promotion, for a lie? In every criminal investigation, you must establish a motive.
Why did Jesus allow Himself to be placed in this position? Jesus’ motive was love. John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son. The cross was never an accident. The death of Jesus was the most deliberate premeditate act in history. It’s the Lord’s plan. Jesus did not die because He was weak. Jesus did not die because the Pharisees were so smart. Jesus died because He loves you.
We will trace the evidence to show you that this was the most premeditated act. He was planned and prophesied before time. It was scheduled, and it happened on time. When the word of God spoke about how the woman’s seed would bruise the head. This is a miracle because the woman does not have a seed. The miracle is that the seed of Mary came above and not below. In the Old Testament, when Abraham raised the knife for his only son, there was a ram that was made. Another piece of trace evidence is John the Baptist. John the Baptist recognized who Jesus is when he said behold the lamb of God who sacrifice for the world. Jesus was not surprised by the things that were happening. This was all in His plan. Jesus was premeditated on your behalf. He died that you might live.
The examination of the toxicology report displayed that there was no sin in Jesus. Every sin that was in the world was cleared through this body. Lord, I thank you. It was the toxicology report that showed that Jesus died that we might live.
