The Battle for Your Mind

2 Corinthians 10:3-5; 2:11

Bishop Keith A. Kershaw

In the past weeks, we looked at the characteristics of Satan. Before Lucifer was thrown out of heaven, he was anointed and held a position in the heavens. Lucifer now is the Prince of the dominion of the air.

Our task is to multiply and replenish the earth. You are known by your name, Lucifer is known by his name. Lucifer is the arc enemy of God. 2 Corinthians tells us that he has the power to transform unto many things. He brings many of his characteristics to manipulate people to leave God. If he can convince a third of the angels to leave the presence of God, he can convince you to turn against God. He is Satan.

One of our protection against the enemy is knowing the word of God. God’s word is sometimes designed for you and not for everyone else. To help you combat against the enemy, God speaks to you under the inspiration of the word. Satan knows he cannot get to you, so he tries to get to you through your mind. Remember, God has already been where you have been through.

One of satan's tactics is to slander your name. Satan’s tactic is to confuse you as it relates to your purpose in God. satan has some power, but he does not have all the power. Satan is not all-knowing and does not hold the future in your hands. Only He the Alpha and Omega have all-knowing and power in His hand. God is everywhere at the same time.

Warfare is different at different levels of God. That is why Job was under the attack. The job was becoming an influence among his family members. The one thing that the enemy is trying to do is make us think that soul witnessing is not important. There is nothing passive about our faith.

There are some times that God will wake you up in the morning to be an interceptive for someone else. Learn how to pray.🙏 It’s not enough to just be a member of Genesis. Are you working in the ministry? Those who do everything will eventually become burned out. The church members need to get in the game. However, we do not know who are our enemies.

If you want to know how God thinks, you need to know God’s word. Mediate on the word of God, day and night. You have to get the word of God inside of you. It’s all about our God or it is about nothing. We must be open to the consultation of the word of God.
